Nutrition and Dietary Needs
We have an on site chef who prepares all the meals fresh on the day for our children taking in considerations their dietary and allergy needs.
Child Induction Policy
Kiddicare aims to work with parents/carers to settle the child in to group environment to ensure they feel safe, secure and comfortable with the staff and their surroundings.
About our Base rooms
We provide a calm, peaceful, stimulating environment for our babies where they have the opportunity to explore their senses through our sensory toys. We aim to accommodate your babies routines from home to cater for all our babies individual needs but also to make their transition to nursery as smooth as possible. Our babies are provided with daily activities that help them develop their fine and gross motor skills along with developing their language through story/song time.
We specifically focus on the physical and mental well being and development of our children. This is achieved through the daily activities that are provided for the toddlers. We encourage independence so the Toddlers are encouraged to serve their own meals and drinks and are involved in the set up of activities. We offer a balance between child initiated and adult led activities, so our children learn to make choices, be independent and make healthy decisions. We teach children the importance of good manners, sharing and taking turns.
We ensure that the children’s day is planned in line with the 7 areas of learning (EYFS). We plan activities based on the children’s individual needs and interests and then extend these by providing structured and stimulating activities. Children are provided with the opportunities to develop their literacy and mathematical skills through the daily activities provided. Children are introduced and familiar with letters and sounds and phonics. Children are actively encouraged to be independent, share and take turns. We ensure that we support a positive self-image in children, and we help to prepare the children for school by ensuring that all their needs are met in all areas of their development

R.H Is becoming very confident and independent at home. She Is starting to speak and copy us adults. She can point things out of books such as naming fruit and
colours. She Is also trying to count to 10, R.H expresses herself a lot through conversation. She Is able to ask what she wants and Is understanding of both Punjabi and Gujarati language in addition to English. R.H loves to sing and dance and she requests for her favourite songs to be played daily. We are really glad to see her grow and she loves her time at nursery. We believe this has supported her development quite quickly.
