What makes us stand out!

At Kiddicare Nursery, we’ve crafted an educational approach inspired by a rich tapestry of early learning philosophies. The Kiddicare curriculum is meticulously designed, drawing inspiration from leading educational methodologies Reggio Emilia, in addition to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. By incorporating principles from these renowned approaches, we create a dynamic learning environment that fosters independence, creativity, and critical thinking skills in children.
Through this thoughtful integration of diverse educational philosophies, we strive to provide a well-rounded education that prepares children for success in school and beyond.
Our dedicated team of educators is passionate about following each child’s lead, crafting experiences that resonate with their innate curiosity and thirst for knowledge. From sensory exploration to imaginative play, every activity is
thoughtfully designed to ignite children’s imaginations and nurture their holistic development. With a focus on cultivating a lifelong love of learning, we empower children to embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth, laying the foundation for a bright and promising future.

Curriculum

The Early Years Foundation Programme (EYFS), which outlines seven areas of
learning, is seamlessly integrated into our curriculum at Kiddicare Nursery as
part of our comprehensive approach to early childhood education. We make sure that every child has a well-rounded and enriching educational experience that is catered to their unique needs and interests by combining structured activities, play-based learning experiences, and hands-on discovery.
Personal, Social, and Emotional Development (PSED): Through meaningful
interactions and group activities, we establish healthy relationships and assist
children in growing in social skills, emotional resilience, and self-assurance.
Language & Communication (CL): Our curriculum offers children the chance to connect with language-rich settings, take part in narrative sessions, and hone their speaking and listening abilities through engaging conversations and
communication games.
Physical Development (PD): We offer a variety of programmes and materials to support kids’ physical health and wellbeing, including as yoga and mindfulness practices, outdoor play, and activities for the development of fine and gross motor skills.
Literacy: By providing a range of literacy-rich experiences, including storytelling, phonics exercises, letter recognition games, and mark-making and writing chances, we foster a love of reading and writing.
Mathematics: By means of interactive exercises, games, and puzzles, we assist
kids in gaining an understanding of mathematical ideas like sorting, counting,
identifying shapes, and solving problems.
Exploring the World: Through discovery-based learning activities, our curriculum gives kids the chance to explore and learn about the world around them, including various cultures, the environment, technology, and scientific ideas.
Expressive Arts and Design: We provide children with access to a range of
materials and resources to stimulate their creativity and self-expression, and we support them in expressing themselves artistically via art, music, dance, and imaginative play.

We provide a calm, peaceful, stimulating environment for our babies where they have the opportunity to explore their senses through our sensory toys. We aim to accommodate your babies routines from home to cater for all our babies individual needs but also to make their transition to nursery as smooth as possible. Our babies are provided with daily activities that help them develop their fine and gross motor skills along with developing their language through story/song time.

We specifically focus on the physical and mental well being and development of our children. This is achieved through the daily activities that are provided for the toddlers. We encourage independence so the Toddlers are encouraged to serve their own meals and drinks and are involved in the set up of activities. We offer a balance between child initiated and adult led activities, so our children learn to make choices, be independent and make healthy decisions. We teach children the importance of good manners, sharing and taking turns.

We ensure that the children’s day is planned in line with the 7 areas of learning (EYFS). We plan activities based on the children’s individual needs and interests and then extend these by providing structured and stimulating activities. Children are provided with the opportunities to develop their literacy and mathematical skills through the daily activities provided. Children are introduced and familiar with letters and sounds and phonics. Children are actively encouraged to be independent, share and take turns. We ensure that we support a positive self-image in children, and we help to prepare the children for school by ensuring that all their needs are met in all areas of their development.
